    Infertility Counseling

I offer psychotherapy for individuals in all parts of their fertility journey (from the beginning of learning about challenges and options, those going through treatments, those recovering from loss and more).

Infertility is unplanned and can feel isolating and overwhelming. You may feel grief, anger, guilt, shame, sadness, or all of the above in waves. While this is normal, it is difficult to handle on your own. Your mind has such a great impact of your body and your fertility. I will help you work through this, as I understand the range of emotions that accompany this journey.

You may feel like no one understands you and that this process is all-consuming. I am knowledgeable about the fertility world and the choices that need to be made.

I love providing support and emotional tools for my clients so they can approach their fertility through a new lens. My approach is eclectic and holistic, combining a variety of techniques that are catered to your individual needs.

In our one-on-one sessions, you’ll learn to process what’s happening. You’ll learn how to sort through and make decisions, learn and employ coping techniques, manage difficult feelings and feel supported and less isolated. You are not alone and I will work with you on all parts of the journey and help you feel more in control.

If you’re here, you’re already one step closer to feeling more in control and on a better path.

    Third Party Consultations

If you’re an intended parent, planning to build your family using an egg donor, sperm donor or gestational carrier, many clinics require a third party consultation. I have been thoroughly trained and have experience conducting these consultations. The appointment is educational, interactive and informative. We discuss many issues such as mixed feelings, feelings of loss, how to disclose information, choices that need to be made, managing expectations, etc. I’ll answer questions and provide resources. Following the appointment, I’ll send a written report to your referring physician. I welcome being a part of this journey and look forward to working with intended parents.
